Intelligent Octopus Go and home batteries
Octopus doesn't yet connect home batteries to Intelligent Octopus Go. It says it is building a way to do this. Meanwhile you can't sign your battery up to a third-party service such as Axle Energy while on the tariff. Checked against Octopus's FAQ on 26 September 2026.

Why third-party battery services aren't allowed
Octopus says Intelligent Octopus Go works by adjusting your charging when the grid asks it to. If another service were also controlling your battery, the two could send clashing instructions. So you have to choose one or the other for now.
